Jack Fukushima ジャック・フクシマ

オーストラリアに30年間在住し、主にダイビングを中心に観光業界で活動してきました。2021年夏、撮影とサンゴの研究のために一時帰国した際、沖縄の海に魅了され、2022年7月に石垣島に移住しました。現在撮影やコーディネーター業務に従事しながら、海やサンゴを通じて自然と文化を大切に守る人々を育成する仕事にも取り組みたいと思っています。

I have lived in Australia for 30 years, primarily working in the tourism industry with a focus on diving. In the summer of 2021, during a brief return to Japan to study photography and corals, I was captivated by the sea of Okinawa and relocated to Ishigaki Island in July 2022. Moving forward, I aim to establish a base in Okinawa and work on nurturing people who value and protect nature and culture through the sea and corals.
